Bristol Eastern hosts A Capella New England semi-finals

Bristol Eastern High School is hosting the International Championship of High School A Cappella New England Semifinals on Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m.
Nine vocal groups from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut (including Bristol Eastern’s own Strawberry Fields) are competing to earn a spot in the Finals to be held in New York City next month. The recent movie “Pitch Perfect” centered around this very competition where young singers and beat-boxers recreate pop songs using only their voices. This event is quality entertainment for the whole family.
