A baseball program for children with special needs is being offered again.
This program introduces the game of baseball to special needs children in Bristol and bordering towns. In the Challenger Division, various phases of the game are taught as the players advance in their hitting throwing and catching. It’s opportunity for the children to participate in an organized program. The program starts the week of April 18.
“The Challenger Program will be a great personal lift for your child and their self-esteem,” said organizer Dee Valerio-Matyka in a press release.

The program also needs volunteers to help. If you have an hour or two a week to spare, reach out.
