Bristol police make third arrest in 2010 murder case

Bristol Police made another arrest in a murder case that happened on Aug. 15, 2010. On Wednesday police arrested Anthony D. Jackson, 21, of 86 Summer St., Bristol after serving an arrest warrant related to the murder that took place at 81 Locust St., Bristol in 2010, a press release said.
Jackson was arrested and charged with criminal liability for acts of another for murder, and carrying a pistol without a permit. He was held on a $500,000 bond before appearing in court on March 13.
The release said there were two other arrests made last year in the murder case. On Feb. 20, 2013, Gilberto O. Marrero-Alejandro was convicted of murder and sentenced to 60 years in prison for his part in this murder. On June 4, 2013, Christian Bonilla, 23, of Bristol was arrested and charged with capital felony murder, murder and conspiracy to commit murder for his involvement in the investigation, the release said. Bonilla is currently awaiting trial.
