The Bristol Sports Hall of Fame has announced the appointment of four new board members.
Tom Monahan is best known as a political reporter who has covered hundreds of campaigns and elections. The well-known, award-winning Monahan worked for WVIT channel 30 for 45 years. A Bristol native, he has been the voice of the BSHOF annual induction dinner. He is a graduate of Bristol High where he excelled as an athlete on the football field.
Tom Mazzarella is an award-winning producer, cameraman, and chief editor at Mazzarella Media Inc. where he serves as the vice president. He grew up in Southington, Conn., and attended St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol. He is an accomplished video professional, having over 30 years in television production.
Hal Kilby, currently a social studies teacher at Chippens Hill Middle School, is a Bristol native and a graduate of Bristol Central High School. He has coached basketball and baseball in the Bristol school system, Bristol Parks Dept. summer programs and has served as assistant coach and manager for Bristol American Legion Baseball team for many years.
John Colapietro is a native of Bristol and a graduate of Bristol Central High School. He is a retired Bristol firefighter and an avid golfer. At Bristol Central, he excelled in baseball and basketball.
