Jean Treadway, daughter of Morton and Faith Treadway, was blinded at an early age and her story was retold in a book and movie entitled “What Love Sees.”
Tom Dickau will provide some biographical information about Treadway and then watch the movie about her life starring Annabeth Gish as Jean and Richard Thomas as Jean’s husband.
This event is being held at the Bristol Historical Society on Saturday, June 4 at 1 p.m.
The talk and movie are free to members, $5 to non-members.
