Ruth E. (Litke) Spargo,95, of Bristol, widow of William Thomas Spargo Jr. died Saturday May 7, 2016 at Ingraham Manor, Bristol.
Ruth was born in Bristol, March 12, 1921, daughter of the late Alex Litke & Lena (Cippel) Litke Frohm and has been a resident of Bristol since 1942. Ruth was a member of St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church of Bristol.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Spargo and his wife Dale of Terryville, Richard Spargo and his wife Barbara of Burlington, Randall Spargo and his wife Carole of Harwinton, Kenneth Spargo and his wife Louise of Arlington MA; her daughters, Cynthia Becker and her husband David of Republic OH, Deborah St. Germain and her husband Lenny of Somers; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sisters, Lillian Bellmar and Emma Letalien.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:30A.M. at the Scott Funeral Home 169 Main St. Terryville. Burial will be in Peacedale Cemetery Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:00AM to 11:30A.M.
