Anna (Evans) Sleis, 78 of Bristol passed away peacefully at Bristol Hospital on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. She was the widow of Henry Sleis.
Anna was born in New York, NY on October 11, 1937 a daughter of the late John and Mary Evans. She retired in 2002 as a cashier with Stop & Shop in Bristol. Anna was an avid Red Sox fan.
She leaves her children, Dorothy Story of Prince George, VA, Mary Sheehy and her husband Martin of Bristol, and Dianna Sleis of Enfield; brothers John and Michael Evans and sister Julia Parrilla; grandchildren, Juliea, Garrett, Dale, Dylon and Giah.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville/ Bristol and then will proceed to St. Joseph Cemetery for a graveside service.
