Little, Eleanor (Cooper), 84, of Bristol, passed away April 19, 2016 at Bristol Hospital. Born on August 1931 in Bloomfield, VT, she was a daughter of the late George and Pearl (Cole) Cooper. Before moving to CT, Eleanor had taught school for 4 years in North Stratford, NH. When she moved to CT, she found work at Wasley Products in Plainville. After 30 years with the company, Eleanor retired. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church and made many friends there, including her dear friends Mei-li and Art Sivigny. Eleanor is survived by two sons Berkley Little and his wife Lisa of East Hartford, CT and Michael Little and his husband Michael Koliga of Farmington, CT; one daughter Violet Achille and her husband Ronald of Bristol, CT; four grandchildren Jeffrey and Heather Little, Joseph Achille, and Bethany Michaud; one great grandchild Mackenzie Little, and a niece Norma “Penny” Potz. Eleanor was predeceased by her sister Katherine Porter and her nephew Norman Porter, Jr. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, at 11am at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 18 E. Main St., Plainville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Friday, April 22, from 6-8pm at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eleanor can be made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Building Fund using the church’s address above.
