Obituaries: Luther L. Holley

Mr. Luther L. Holley, 58, of Bristol, husband of Tammy (Gunn) Holley passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford.  He was born September 14, 1957 in Sylacauga, Al. and was a son of Beaulah M. (Johnson) Holley and the late Luther Holley.  He worked at Aiudi & Sons Concrete, Plainville as a mixer driver.  Besides his wife and mother, Luther is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Luther R. and Jessica Holley, Patrick E. and Marissa Holley and Jay L. and Maricely Holley all of Bristol, two daughters, Shae Hobbs and D’Nasia Holley both of Bristol, four brothers, Robert C. and Glenda Holley of Sylacauga, AL, Michael L. Holley of Bristol, Randy and Val Holley of Detroit, MI, and Byron Holley of Killeen, TX, two sisters, Alethia Thomason of Birmingham, AL and Mary Jordan of Sylacauga, AL, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 6-8pm at DuPont Funeral Home.  Additional Calling hours and his funeral will be held in Sylacauga, AL.  Burial will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Sylacauga, AL.  The Holley family invites you to send a condolence message in Luther’s guestbook at www.dupontfuneralhome.com.
