Obituaries: Linda M. Galpin

Linda M. Galpin, 68, of New Britain, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain Campus.  She was born May 6, 1947 in Waterbury and was a daughter of the late Arnold and Harriette (Minor) Galpin.  She was a self-employed picture framer.  She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, William and Susan Galpin of Oakville, three sisters and a brother-in-law, Nancy and Richard Gonneville of Bristol, Carolyn Alessandrone and her significant other, Jimmy Greene of Fairburn, GA, and Elizabeth Hapgood of Fayetteville, GA, her very close friends with whom she lived, Jorge and Lillian Mireles and their three sons, Jorge Mireles, Jeremy Mireles and Enrique Mireles all of New Britain, and many nieces and nephews. Linda’s funeral will be held Saturday evening, April 9, 2016 at 7pm at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol.  Calling hours will be Saturday evening from 5-7pm.  Burial will take place at a later date in New North Cemetery, Woodbury, CT.  The Galpin family invites you to leave a condolence message in Linda’s guestbook at www.dupontfuneralhome.com.
