Obituaries: Laura Clauss

Laura (Bellini) Clauss, wife of Wesley E. Clauss for 73 years, passed quietly away on Friday March 18, 2016, at the Pines at Bristol.  She was born in Bristol on April 3, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina Bellini.  She was a lifelong Bristol resident and retired from Associated Spring, Barnes Group.  Laura was predeceased by her brother Sam Bellini and her two sisters, Rose Bellini and Carmella LaBella.  She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley J. and Sandra Clauss of Bristol and Richard and Susan Clauss of Ponte Vedra, FL, four grandchildren, Mark and his wife Kelly, Lauren, Megan, and Kevin, and a great-grandson, Ethan.  Funeral services and burial were private.  There were no calling hours, and the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, was in charge of the arrangements.  The family would like to thank the fourth floor nursing staff at the Pines and the staff of Vitas Hospice for the loving care provided to Laura.  Please visit Laura’s memorial website at www.FUNKFUNERALHOME.com
