Theresa Ann Riccio, 87, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. She was the loving wife of Edward Riccio, Jr. Born in Hartford on November 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Jennie (Daddario) Raimondi.
Growing up, Theresa worked for Royal Typewriter in Hartford. After she married, she dedicated her life to her family and raising her three children. She also enjoyed her time working at Larson’s Garden Center in her later years. Theresa loved watching her favorite teams and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New England Patriots. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
Besides her husband Edward, she leaves her daughter JoAnn Larson and her husband Stephen of Bristol; her sons Mark E. Riccio and his wife Amy of Naples, FL and Eddie Riccio, III of Bristol; her grandchildren Jennifer, Alexandria, Stephanie and Eddie J. Riccio, IV; her sister Carmel Kurth and her brother Valentino Raimondi and his wife Philomena along with several nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol/Forestville. All are welcome to meet directly at the church for a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Committal services will follow at Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
