The new fall 2015 Bridesmaid Collection of WHITE by Vera Wang has been unveiled. The new collection, according to press materials, introduces 10 new styles.
The collection features a high-neck long-sleeve dress with a plunging back and knotted waist, a draped high-neck halter dress with a gathered skirt and satin belt, a long crepe V-neck dress with a plunging back and satin straps, a floor-length dress with an illusion neckline and fitted bodice, and six short bridesmaid dresses featuring satin belts and modern necklines.
The bridesmaid color palette of 14 shades, exclusive to the WHITE by Vera Wang collection, includes Amethyst, Blush, Cassis, Charcoal, Ebony, Forest, Ivory, Midnight, Mist, Sterling, Stone, Sunset, Valentina, and VW Champagne. The WHITE by Vera Wang bridesmaid collection is also available in 24 colors exclusive to David’s Bridal: Apple, Ballet, Begonia, Biscotti, Canary, Champagne, Clover, Coral Reef, Guava, Horizon, Iris, Lapis, Malibu, Marine, Mercury, Mint, Oasis, Petal, Pewter, Plum, Pool, Regency, Spa, and Wisteria.
All bridesmaid dresses are priced under $250, ranging from $168 to $229. Most dresses are available in sizes 0 to 26 with select styles available in sizes 0 to 18.
Model Alexandria Palmer was photographed in the New England Carousel Museum at 95 Riverside Ave., Bristol. The museum, which features a bevy of historic carousel horses and other animals, also serves as home to the The Museum of Fire History, the Museum of Greek Art and History, and a carousel animal Restoration Department (which is in the midst of restoring the rides for the Bushnell Park carousel, which is overseen by the museum). The facility also includes two art galleries, one of which features the work of renowned local artist Glo Sessions.
The museum also is available for rental for a variety of events. For instance, the museum is regularly booked for weddings. The Ballroom, which is in the top floor of the historic factory building, can accommodate 230 sitting guests, has a dance floor and crystal chandeliers.
