The Bristol String Orchestra will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. There will be group and solo performances. The repertoire will include “Joy to the World,” “Jolly St. Nicholas,” “Hark, The Herald Angels Sing,” “Silent Night,” and “Up On A Housetop.” The ,ain orchestra will perform, “Greensleeves,” “Mr. Santa,” “Over the River and Through the Woods,” “Home for the Holidays,” and “The African Bell Carol.” There will be special performance of “A Christmas Song,” written in 1941 by late Bristolites Isabelle Hennessy and Josephine Errico. The orchestra includes musicians in range from 7 to 82 from Avon, Bristol, Burlington, Farmington, MansfieldCenter, Plainville, Portland, Southington, Terryville, Willington, Wolcott. Admiss is free.
