On Saturday, a parking and travel restriction will be in place on a section of North Main Street during the Bill Englert Car Show.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, starting at noon, parking will be banned between the intersections of North Street and Center Street. The parking restriction will be strictly enforced and violators will towed, the release said. Drivers passing through this area are advised to take alternate routes.
At 2 p.m., North Main Street will be closed to traffic at North and Center Streets, the release said. North Main Street is expected to reopen at approximately 8 p.m., and officers as well as CERT members will be on hand during the car show, the release said.
