Celebrate Halloween with the Bristol Parks and Recreation Department this year.
The department is offering three special events including the annual Halloween Carnival & Costume Parade, Family Float Fright Night, and the 2nd Howl N’ Prowl Dog Costume Parade. Some events have limited spaces.
Thursday, Oct. 23- Howl N’ Prowl Dog Costume Parade
Bring your well behaved dogs out for its first annual Howl N’ Prowl Dog Costume Parade on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Rockwell Park. Dog owners are encouraged to dress up their hounds for a fun night out and a chance to win some great prizes. At 5:30 p.m., everyone will go on a stroll through the park meeting back at the amphitheater for award of exciting prizes. There will be music throughout the evening.

Saturday, Oct. 25- 4th Annual Family Float Fright Night at the Pool
The 4th Annual Family Float Fright Night will be held at the Dennis Malone Aquatic Center located at (325 Mix St., Bristol) on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 5:30-to 7 p.m. for families and an extra spook swim for middle schoolers from 7:30 to 9pm. The event will include haunting music, swimming, and fun activities. Admission is $5 per person (Children under 5 years old are admitted free but you have call to register). Families may rent floats for a $1 each or bring their own.

Sunday, Oct. 26 – Halloween Carnival & Costume Parade at Rockwell Park
Bring the family out to Rockwell Park on Sunday, Oct. 26 for the annual Halloween Costume Carnival and Parade. The event is free. The carnival kicks off with a costume parade (11:45 a.m. line-up, 12 p.m. parade) and follows with a magic show by the Amazing Andy. The carnival runs 12 to 3 p.m. and includes free carnival games, arts and crafts, Big Daddy Racing, photo booth, train rides, and special guests Jingles and Twinkles the Clowns. Children receive a free treat bag while supplies last. Pre-registration is not required.
